I have now been given the honour of running our monthly PermaBlitz sessions. Our Blitz for October was in Schofields. We had an incredible 41 members of Permaculture Sydney West turn up to transform the small yard. We had a long list of jobs including replacing a crumbling retaining wall, paving, weeding, mulching paths, replenishing garden beds, removing a small tree, pruning, and replanting a banana circle. The 41 volunteers did an incredible job and in 3.5 hours we had completed more tasks than most gardeners might complete in 3.5 weeks.
